Jeeping in Parker, AZ

I know I am leaving a few trips out but lets jump ahead to this past weekend. We went to Parker, AZ for our annual Jeep trip over the President's Day holiday weekend. We really got lucky and had beautiful weather and Jeeped some great trails, thanks to Mark & Todd. For the most part we all got through the trails with out any damage (Sorry Rusty, I had to show the photo)! So now we are looking forward to our next Jeep trip in Truckhaven for the TDS Jeep Safari in March so be on the lookout for some more updates and photos!

60th Anniversary Party

In November we celebrated Arica's Grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary. They had a wonderful party at the Riverside Hotel & Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. There were a lot of family and friends to help them celebrate this wonderful milestone!

Our other exciting news is that my brother Jeff and new sister-in-law Linda got married October 18, 2008 in San Juan Capistrano. Their wedding was so wonderful and full of love. We are so happy to welcome Linda and her family into our family.

For Ken's birthday last year in October, we decided to visit Jeff and Linda in Texas. We had a great time seeing all of the sights, eating, drinking and shopping. They took us to the Fort Worth Stockyards to see all of the history and shops. Twice daily, 4 cowboy's on horseback drive 12 long horn steer down Main Street to symbolize the selling and trading of stock back in the day. It was a sight to see! We also went to a local bar called Billy Bob's and saw Tracy Lawrence in concert. It was awesome to see a concert in such a small setting! We also went to Pearl's bar, which was originally a brothel and heard a great band. We also went to Ruben's Ballroom in Decatar, to listen to the T.J. Hooker band play. We had an awesome time and cannot wait to go back!!

As for our neice Demi she has been very busy with Water Polo, which she really loves and is really good at. We were able to see her swim in a tournament recently which was a lot of fun. She is also currently in rehersals for CAT's production of Willy Wonka, in which she was cast as an Oompa Loompa! It begins at the end of this month and we are really excited to see her in it.

Finally an Update~!!!

Ok, so it's been a few months since the last update, and yes there have been many things going on in our lives. One of which our nephew Miles is really growing up fast and we are excited to say we are going to be an Auntie & Uncle again! Congratulations to Jon & Stephanie, they are expecting another boy July 17, 2009!
